Did the Zodiac Killer from the 1970's Spend Time in Seguin?
(Seguin, TX) -- The Seguin Gazette reports that a California man is on a mission to prove his stepfather was once the infamous Zodiac killer that terrorized the San Francisco area back in the 1970’s. Dennis Kaufman believes that his now deceased stepfather, Jack Tarrance, was the serial killer that taunted police in notes left at crime scenes and in codes sent to San Francisco area media. And he says Tarrance used to live in Seguin, and may be tied to the deaths of 4 Texas girls. Kaufman even has a website dedicated to tell the story that he believes is the truth about Jack Tarrance, and now he’s returned to Texas to prove his involvement by looking into 4 unsolved cases. His claims are nothing new to the FBI, who is in charge of the Zodiac investigation, and although he has turned over several pieces of evidence, the FBI has not yet released the results of their tests on those items, which include a knife and a mask.
