Pilot OK After Crash Landing Plane in McQueeney Saturday
(McQueeney, TX) -- The Seguin Gazette reports that there were only minimal injuries from a small airplane crash west of McQueeney Saturday morning. The plane crash landed in a field near the intersection of FM 78 and Pioneer Road after an apparent engine failure in the Aero Commander 100. The plane clipped a fence as the pilot was trying to make an emergency landing in the field, but the pilot only suffered a bloody nose and other non-life threatening injuries. The FAA and the NTSB will be investigating.
