Seguin Raid Turns Up Dangerous Drugs in Child's Dresser
(Seguin, TX) -- The Seguin Gazette reports that a drug raid on a home in Seguin turned up a number of illegal drugs, including narcotics found hidden inside a child's dresser. Just before 10pm Wednesday, officers searched a home in the 700 block of Mitchell and found nearly 12 grams of cocaine, 2½ ounces of marijuana, and just over half a gram of crack cocaine inside a dresser drawer in a child’s bedroom. Seguin Police say the search also turned up nearly a thousand dollars in cash along with instruments used for packaging and selling narcotics. 26-year-old Joshua Espinoza was arrested and charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, delivery of marijuana in a drug free zone, and child endangerment. His two children, ages 5 and 6, were not home at the time of the search and child protective services were contacted.
